作品介绍
“此处世界,彼处世界”雕塑作品位于体育馆前草坪,是著名建筑师、艺术家米丘先生在 2005 年赠送于我校的百年校庆礼物。雕塑高 5.12 米,横向伸展 5米,通体用不锈钢制成,实体部分为褐红色,虚体的线条为银白色。东西区各有一个,舒展的姿态与翱翔的双翅象征着腾飞与理想。米丘先生旨在通过雕塑尝试把蕴含于某个“彼处世界”的符号或形象植入到现实生活的“此处世界”,以造成不同可能世界之间的可通达性。雕塑意在提醒人们,事情并非总是人们所熟知的那样,从而引起一种想象的思索。当年,此雕塑作品被时任校长陈章良称为现代艺术进驻百年名校的大手笔,大大增加了校园的现代艺术气息,也由此拉开了我校艺术教育蓬勃发展的大幕。
Introduction to Works
The sculpture of "This World, That World" is located on the lawn in front of the gymnasium and is a famous architect and artist Mr. Michio presented a centennial anniversary gift to our school in 2005. The sculpture is 5.12 meters high and extends horizontally by 5 meters, the entire body is made of stainless steel, and the solid part is brownish red. the lines of the virtual body are silver white. There is one in the east and one in the west, and the stretching posture and soaring wings symbolize takeoff and ideals. Mr. Michio aims to implant symbols or images contained in a certain "that world" into the "this world" of real life through sculpture, in order to create accessibility between different possible worlds. Sculpture aims to remind people that things are not always as well-known as they are, thus arousing an imaginative contemplation. At that time, this sculpture was called by the then-principal Chen Zhangliang as a masterpiece of modern art entering a century old prestigious school, greatly enhancing the modern artistic atmosphere of the campus and opening the curtain for the vigorous development of art education in our school.
